The Duravanes will work but they are nowhere near as durable as the FF. They don’t take a bend/wrinkle/crease, whatever you want to call, it like the Duravanes do.
A couple years ago I had 2 doz ACC setup… One doz w/ Duravanes and 1 doz with FF… The Duras shot good at 40, I was grouping them inside a 20 yd single spot 5 ring, but the FF would be inside of them EVERYTIME. I tested the two side by side for about a week and a half. Didn’t matter if I shot all 4 FF first, last, or every other arrow, EVERYTIME they grouped inside the Duras.

As a lifelong finger shooter, I have always shot feathers as my preferred fletching until my local pro shop owner and I had a friendly “debate” after which he challenged me to fletch a dozen arrows with Flex fletch vanes. I took the challenge and am I glad I did. My flight improved dramatically at long ranges of field and FITA. So much so that I started taking 1st and 2nd instead of also ran. I have converted several of my friends through my success as well. I have been using the FFP 4.18 and FLP 400 up to now but am trying the 3.6 and 3.0 styles as we speak with great preliminary results. Testing has been slowed somewhat by the onset of hunting season. All in all I am confident that I will be using these for hunting in the near future.

Let me start by saying that I am not looking for a handout in any way, shape, or form. But, I love what you guys have to offer at Flex Fletch and always have. I discovered Flex Fletch about 9 years ago and REFUSE to shoot anything else. I have tried just about EVERYTHING out there over that time and always come back to Flex Fletch. You guys make the best vanes out so why look at others.

1 month or so ago I bought some of the new Flash vanes and have been very impressed. You all did it again. I use the 187’s for field and 3D on my little arrows…225’s and 310s or 360s on my Hippos and other indoor arrows and the Flash and 360s for hunting. I have NEVER been disappointed…not once. Thanks Flex-Fletch

Thought I would forward you a couple of pic’s of the two caribou I shot last week using the new “Flash” vanes. I shot one at 40 and the other at 52 yards. Two longest shots I have ever made on a game animal. The flash vane did a great job stabilizing my fixed blade broadhead in the 20-30 MPH winds. Thanks again form a great product. Flex Fletch are the best!

Flex-Fletch vanes don’t deteriorate like others do! I moved from Hawaii to Arizona nearly 4 years ago and all my arrow building supplies are now at least 8 years old. Hot shipping and storage conditions no doubt were tough on my vanes, and all my other vanes on my arrows and in packages are now breaking up and unusable. But NOT my Flex-Fletch vanes. They are still just fine in their simple plastic package and ready to be put on arrows! And most of my Flex-Fletch vanes on arrows are fine too, and again shooting. All the OTHER arrows have to be re-fletched.
    Thanks for a fine product.
    Aloha,
