You may wonder, if you've done any
research at all, why so many well-seasoned archers prefer Flex-Fletch vanes. There are
many reasons for this not the least of which is durability. In this post I will
explain the benefits of Flex-Fletch vanes and also the differences between Flex-Fletch and
other brands.

Durability |
|
| Flex-Fletch vanes are the most durable vanes on the market. Period. There is
no exception to this. Flex Fletch vanes are unaffected by temperature including
friction. That is why Flex-Fletch will take a beating and return to shape on their
own. |
| Material |
|
| Flex-Fletch vanes are made using a secret compound of materials to create our own thermal
set resin. This is part of the reason Flex-Fletch vanes are more expensive.
Strips are molded in precision molds and must remain in the molds until they are cured
well enough to remove. After removal they are cured overnight in an oven.
Compare this to extruded vanes that are pumped out of a machine using less expensive
material. |

Precision and Consistency |
|

Every vane is die cut from our precision molded strips. Stand one on its base
and observe that it stands straight. Weight tolerances are rigid. The length and
height is within .003 of an inch on each vane. Compare this with, as an example, a
certain high profile vane on the market that in a recent test involving a 36-vane pack
varied in length by .023, height by .025 and weight by .7 grains. The lightest being
5.5 grains and the heaviest 6.2. All this from a vane advertised as 5 grains.

| Our custom compounded resin is designed to be not only durable, but also

Noise |

| The original quite vane, Flex-Fletch vanes do not flutter in flight. There is at
least one other vane in production that is also quiet but its durability is poor.
