No problem Winn, good luck. Maybe we should re-name the FFP-360's "Deets". :)

Hi Wendell, We did make some 4" shield cut vanes years ago but they really didn't sell all that well and were discontinued. I think they were called FFS-406. If you have any of our FFP-418 or 470's you could cut them yourself. The way I've done it is to draw the cut I want on a piece of aluminum, (it's soft) and use a single edged razor blade. I works sweet.

Why dont you make shield cut vanes in anything longer than 3 inches? I really like shield cut flexfletch vanes, but would like to have some longer for broadhead guidance. Thanks.

<a href="#comment-1830" rel="nofollow">@Daniel</a>
Thank you Daniel, that is great to hear. I thought I noticed Dietmar using your vanes in the video of his release technique. I saw Martin this year and didn't even notice that he had vanes. I'm glad that you have pictures of the pro's using your products. Thanks again, I'll use the 360's then. That is what I use on my hunting arrows. -Winn

Winn,
Yes I can recommend something. The FFP-360. Dietmar Trillus won Vegas in 2010 using them and Martin Damsbo took second at Vegas in 2011 using the same. Christopher Perkins won the Archery World Championships using our FLP-400's and set a new world record while doing it, just this past July. All FF vanes will stand up to the abuse you give them. Still the most durable and precise vane on the planet.

I've always used 4" feathers for my indoor tournaments but this year I think that I will try a good helical fletched vane. Your vanes have been my choice for outdoor shooting for the last 12yrs. I want something that will stand out against the Vegas target and the NFAA 5 spot. Could you recommend what you've seen from some of your successful shooters use indoors and the colors. Thanks -Winn
