Last month of the year, time to start getting your snow shovels ready (for some of us anyway). I know I promised a big update today, but I messed up! I know, I know. Go ahead and make fun. I’m on my laptop and I don’t have my charger with me! I don’t have much more time than to at least let you know that the big update should be tomorrow (I’ll remember my laptop charger, I swear!). Not only that, I worked 14 hours today! The archery business is a beast if you let it run away with you. Luckily, I’m a pro and I’ve got it all under control

Sorry for not getting more done yesterday, but as I said, we’re shooting a brand new brochure!  It’s actually more time consuming than a person might think.  But I’ve also been trying to make some new banners for Flex-Fletch’s new Glow Vane.  The banner isn’t finished yet, but this was a preview I was working on:

I’ve added Flex-Bond Adhesive, Pro-Nocks, Tag-n-Trail, Shurz-a-Peep, Ultra Soft Kisser Buttons, and Fast-Fletch Adhesive.

This was quite an update!  As important as our vanes are, we absolutely cannot forget about our other great products!  If any of you out there still shoot tapered aluminum arrow shafts, take a look at our Pro-Nocks page, we have the nocks for you!

Old Flex-Fletch

Well, it’s technically not a new brochure yet, but we are working on one!  Tomorrow (Monday), we’re doing an entire photo-shoot dedicated toward the new brochure!  It’s going to contain all the new vane types, sizes, and colors that are currently in our inventory.

Tomorrow I should have more products up on the main page, such as Kisser Buttons, Fast Fletch, Flex-Bond, Tan-n-Trail, Pro Nocks, and more!

Sorry that there isn’t a whole lot of update today, but there was quite a bit of “behind-the-scenes” work that I did.  Even though you don’t notice a huge update, there are some handy and lightweight, yet significant, updates….such as friendly URLs.  Before, if you want to link to, say…the Vanes page, it’d would be http://www.flexfletch.com/?page_id=28….but now!  You can just link to http://www.flexfletch.com/products/vanes/ or even http://www.flexfletch.com/vanes !!  That’s so cool!  It has to do with Apache mod_rewrite, buuut, you don’t really need to know about the nitty gritty.  Just know that I am constantly working on the new site.

I also hope to have the site match the new look of the brochure, so we all tie in together really nicely.

Oh, and just so you guys know, I can see that there are tons of people visiting the website.  How come none of you are leaving comments?  I am genuinely interested because I would love to know if it’s too complicated or too hard.  Please let me know!  If someone is brave enough comment, it’d really make my day!
