I’ve added Flex-Bond Adhesive, Pro-Nocks, Tag-n-Trail, Shurz-a-Peep, Ultra Soft Kisser Buttons, and Fast-Fletch Adhesive.
This was quite an update! As important as our vanes are, we absolutely cannot forget about our other great products! If any of you out there still shoot tapered aluminum arrow shafts, take a look at our Pro-Nocks page, we have the nocks for you!
Well, it’s technically not a new brochure yet, but we are working on one! Tomorrow (Monday), we’re doing an entire photo-shoot dedicated toward the new brochure! It’s going to contain all the new vane types, sizes, and colors that are currently in our inventory.
Tomorrow I should have more products up on the main page, such as Kisser Buttons, Fast Fletch, Flex-Bond, Tan-n-Trail, Pro Nocks, and more!
Sorry that there isn’t a whole lot of update today, but there was quite a bit of “behind-the-scenes” work that I did. Even though you don’t notice a huge update, there are some handy and lightweight, yet significant, updates….such as friendly URLs. Before, if you want to link to, say…the Vanes page, it’d would be http://www.flexfletch.com/?page_id=28….but now! You can just link to http://www.flexfletch.com/products/vanes/ or even http://www.flexfletch.com/vanes !! That’s so cool! It has to do with Apache mod_rewrite, buuut, you don’t really need to know about the nitty gritty. Just know that I am constantly working on the new site.
I also hope to have the site match the new look of the brochure, so we all tie in together really nicely.
Oh, and just so you guys know, I can see that there are tons of people visiting the website. How come none of you are leaving comments? I am genuinely interested because I would love to know if it’s too complicated or too hard. Please let me know! If someone is brave enough comment, it’d really make my day!
Oh man! I didn’t realize how many pro-staffers we have using our vanes! It took all day to transfer everyone over! I also added a new article, Dietmar Trillus vs Martin Damsbo.
I’ve been also experimenting with making the site more user-friendly and making things not so confusing in some respects. Although those were rather minor, they take a lot of time. I can guarantee you that even if it’s minor, somehow 8 billion people will get confused in some way I didn’t predict.
I still want to hear from you guys! Please start leaving comments! I want to make sure this all works! I figured the whole point of leaving comments is to be interactive with the archers out there. Getting direct feedback in a live environment is a fantastic way of getting you guys what you want!
Videos, Articles, History, and Facts got added as well as a couple other pages were re-arranged. Some pages are still kinda bare and not done, but as promised, stuff is developing.
I’m a little stuck right now for getting more images for the Vanes section, but I should get something within a week. I was hoping to have them up by today, but the picture taking fiesta is getting pushed back.
And lastly, BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST, I want to hear from you guys! Post some comments in here! It’s awful quiet…I would love to hear what features you want from the new and developing site! I also want to hear what you guys are demanding for new and better vanes! Create a discussion in the comments! Don’t be afraid! Lots of exclamation points!
The Adhesion Tips page is back! You can find it by hovering over the Vanes page and it should appear, like a drop down menu! It isn’t too stylish yet, but we’re getting somewhere at least!
Also, the list of colors on the Vanes page has been partially updated. Some of the color examples I used to have seem to have been corrupted, so I will be taking new pictures of all our vanes and colors, this time with higher quality pictures! Right now, they are still the same images from the old site, but should be brand-spanking new within a day or two! Keep an eye out!
