2010 MSAA Tournament
It was a very good turnout for the Minnesota State Archery tourney this past weekend. The archers came out and so did the vendors. The amount of vendors present was a bit out of the ordinary, there are usually only a handful of booths for the archers to browse in between their turn at the line but this year there were quite a few more.
At the Flex-Fletch booth, we ended up being the go-to guys for emergency equipment repair. We were helping with refletching arrows and gluing in tips that had come loose. In some cases we had to hand fletch the disabled arrow because our Bitzenburger fletching jig didn’t match the offset or helical of the existing fletches. But we were at least able to help those archers continue.
The younger crowd really were a treat to have around. These young archers helped by hand fletching pencils that we were giving away to anyone who wanted one. It was difficult to keep up but with their help we had a stockpile for a while. From Left to right: Barbara Grundman of Flex-Fletch Products and Austin, Kenneth, Braeden, and Nick.
Flex-Fletch would like to thank everyone who stopped by the booth and made our experience memorable, it is a true testament to why people are drawn to the sport of archery.
